THE SHAOLIN WEEK 2024 - SHAOLIN KUNG FU WINTER CAMP
The Shaolin Week 2024 winter camp is the next edition of the only camp in Poland, which takes place according to the training schedule of the Shaolin Temple in China. Experience seven days of traditional training, culture and lifestyle according to the schedule of the Shaolin Temple, Yunnan. The „Shaolin Week” camp will take place at the European Budo Center – Dojo Stara Wieś in Poland.
Master Shì Héngyì (释恒毅) will visit Poland in January to lead the 5th edition of the cyclical Shaolin Kung Fu camp: The Shaolin Week. This is the only camp of its kind in Poland, run by the Warrior Monk of the Shaolin Temple, during which for 7 days you will experience life according to the schedule of the Warrior Monks from the legendary Shaolin Temple. The camp is intended for all levels of advancement. Both for those who have experience in Chinese martial arts and for beginners in this type of activity.
Training
Shaolin Warrior training is a unique experience, one of a kind in Poland. The camp will take you on a traditional journey that will allow you to experience the life of a real Shaolin Warrior. You will train in the traditional way seven hours a day. The camp is intended for all skill levels. The only thing you need is: a positive attitude, an open heart and mind, and the willingness to train. Traditional training includes the basics of kung fu, stretching, strength training, self-defense techniques and combat training. Qigong, Taiji and meditation will be taught as part of a balanced training.

Dojo Stara Wieś is a unique facility in the world, built in accordance with the canons of Japanese architecture in the Polish landscape. It is the world’s largest center dedicated to specialized training in Far Eastern martial arts and sports.

At the end of the camp, each participant will receive a certificate of participation issued by the Shaolin Temple Poland and the International Shaolin Wushu Federation.

Registration
Camp price
The price of the camp is: EUR 850. The price of the camp includes: Accommodation (6 nights), Meals (3 meals a day), Training (3 training sessions a day). The price does not include: Travel costs, insurance and private expenses.
Early Bird price: EUR 775 (valid for payment made by November 10, 2023)
*Participation in the camp is intended only for adults.
Camp registration
1. Registration is required via e-mail kontakt@shaolintemple.pl (providing name, surname and telephone number) or filling out the application form below.
2. Only after receiving a confirmation e-mail, please pay the deposit or the entire amount for the camp within 7 days.
3. Lack of payment within 7 days will cancel the camp reservation. Please do not pay money until your inclusion on the list of participants is confirmed by e-mail.
4. Payment of the deposit (or the full amount) is tantamount to acceptance of the camp regulations (available in the application form).
5. Please pay a deposit for the camp in the amount of EUR 250 to the account of the Shaolin Temple Poland with the description: „Shaolin Week – name and surname”

The number of places is limited, admission to the camp depends on the order of applications and payments! Before you pay the deposit for the camp, please check in to see if there are still places available. Reservation of a place at the camp is confirmed only by e-mail registration of participation and timely payment.
About the Instructor
Shifu Shi Hengyi (释恒毅)
Shifu Shi Hengyi is 35th Generation Shaolin Warrior Monk, and 18th Generation Disciple of Meihuaquan. Direct Disciple of Shifu Shi Yanjun.
During his adventure with Chinese martial arts, Master Shì Héngyì achieved:
Level 5th Duanwei, 1st Level Trainer’s Certificate, and 1st Level Referee’s Certificate (Chinese Wushu Association)*****
Level 3 Duanwei (International Shaolin Wushu Federation), and Level 3 Duanwei (International Meihuaquan Federation, which he officially represent in Poland).
He is also a multi-medalist in national (Chinese) and international Kung Fu championships in the categories of empty hands forms, group forms, arranged forms and in the Sanda category.
